Lenin faced many struggles after the civil war. One insight into Lenin's problems was with communism and his tentativeness to secure a solitary economic policy for Russia. Many people were against the Bolsheviks for a short time. Foreign nations were not opposed to the bolsheviks but rather against what he was trying to make Russia into. Lenin wanted to make Russia communist and have everyone equal whereas, the capitalist world was worried that there own citizens would apply communism and revolt against them.
After Lenin died, Trotsky and Stalin took over some of the power left by Lenin. Trotsky was the Military leader and Stalin was in charge of propaganda and public relations. One of the main fights was the fight between "guns or Butter." Stalin came out on top at the end of this fight and had Trotsky deported. Though Stalin was a harsh leader and killer, he ultimately lead Russia to an economical powerhouse.
