Hitlers first attempt at a government overthrow was the Beer Hall putsch, this was when he attempted to overthrow the Government. The overgrow failed and Hitler and General Luddendorff were imprisoned. But While in Prison Hitler, with the help of General Luddendorf, wrote a book about his views.
